‘In the Language of Angels’ opened in Brooklyn on 24 October. The above piece, Doe-a-Deer I, painted exclusively for the exhibition, sold last week to a collector in Brooklyn.

Exhibiting along with Simone is Sarah Joncas (Canada), Camilla d’Errico (Canada), Mijn Schatje (France), Lisa Alisa (Russia) and Mia (USA).
The exhibition is currently showing at Ad Hoc Gallery and will run until 23 November.

Thanks to Mark Jamieson from Brunswick Street Gallery, a selection of Simone’s ‘Food and Desire’ series paintings will be on exhibition at Art Sydney from 23-26 October.

Opening night will be held at the gallery on Friday 10 October from 6-8pm.

Simone has been invited to participate in a group show in October at Ad Hoc Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. The exhibition, titled ‘In the Language of Angels’, will open on October 24. For more information, click here.

Simone’s painting ‘Lullaby and Exile’ has been selected as a finalist in the 2008 Corangamarah Art Prize. The exhibition will open on Saturday 9 August and will run until Sunday 17 August.
